switch-it Assembling GmbH awarded best foreign supplier by customer

We, Switch-it Assembling GmbH, have reason to celebrate once again, as our company was recently awarded best foreign supplier by a major customer in South America. During a visit to the customer, our management and design department personally accepted the award on site. During the visit, both sides emphasised the successful partnership, which will continue to be developed in the future. Close cooperation is the basis of a good business relationship.
Without our dedicated team, however, this success would not have been possible. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees once again for their dedication and commitment.

Since our foundation, we have continuously made a name for ourselves as a reliable supplier of high-quality microswitch solutions. We specialise in development and production of customised microswitch applications, which are used in a wide range of industry sectors and applications. These include electronics, automotive and medical. We attach great importance on listening to and meeting the needs and requirements of our customers.

Our recent award as Best Foreign Supplier is the result of hard work, excellent products and close cooperation with our customers.
We will continue to expand our product range, develop innovative solutions and maintain close partnerships with our customers around the world.

A new product development of switch-it Assembling GmbH

We have developed a lock with closing aid for e.g. centrifuges, that is unique on the market. Its features:

switch-it enlarges solder capacities

Since beginning of  2022 we have a soldering automate SolderSmart in our shop floor, manufactured by Elmotec AG.

This automate was developped and especially designed for our products running in high quantities.

• Switches of our ultraminiature series are soldered to customer specific PCB’s.
• Compared to maunual soldering we have more precise soldering on these switches.
• Highest precision by 4-axis-system.
• Permanent traceability of solder process.

This soldering automate was conceived in cooperation with Messrs. ELMOTEC and first products were run in.

We look forward to excellent quality for these complex processes.
One more step for switch-it to continuous improvement of quality.

With this investment in most advanced production tecvhnology we also see chances for activities in PCB assembly and drag soldering.

switch-it expands potting capacities

Since beginning of year 2022 a second potting line works in our production hall.

This line expands explicitly our potting capacities, compared to our “conventional” potting line:

• Big or complex potting areas can be filled in one run and with minimum time effort.
• Assemblies with several parts can be potted at different points and in different layers.
• Complex articles can be processed in small and medium quantities, as cost-effective as possible.

The potting line was concepted in house, and its development was supported by the federal state of Niedersachsen.

We look forward to use it in complex assemblies.

switch-it consistently works on his contribution to environent and climate protection:

• switch-it Dinkelsbühl since beginning of 2021 works in a mostly paperless office.
  And also Bad Zwischenahn is well on its way to it.
• switch-it Bad Zwischenahn as production plant continouosly replaces plastic PE bags by paper bags (where possible)

At the end of 2020 / beginning of 2021 we have had installed a photovoltaic system on our production hall, to contribute to climate protection.

We gain a quote of more than 70% of autarky, due to optimezed layout of the system. Thus we save sparen 70 kilograms of Co2 per day on average.

As additional step towards future, we have installed a charging station for electric vehicles for our colleagues.

Furthermore we have switched over to LED light technology in our administrative and production plant. This saves electricity, and gives better light quality for working environment.

We are curious to what this year 2021 will bring. Our start during the first quarter was wild but successfull.
